We’re a hopeful adoptive couple in Minnesota, near the Wisconsin border, ready to grow our family through open adoption. We’ve been together since 2014, married in 2021, and we’ve built a warm, caring home filled with love, laughter and support (and our sweet tabby cat, Austin).

Meet Brendon
COMPASSIONATE:
Brendon is deeply compassionate. He loves caring for our cat, Austin, supporting friends and family, and enriching the lives of others.
CURIOUS:
He has a natural curiosity and a wide range of interests. He loves diving into research, whether it’s finding the best way to care for his plants, improving his aquarium, or discovering new recipes to try.
LOYAL:
He’s a devoted son, brother, and friend. He prioritizes showing up for people he loves.
Brendon's Job
Family Nurse Practitioner, Kidney Care
- Brendon is a healthcare provider and cares for patients in the hospital at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN
- He works longer shifts that allow him to work less days per week so he can be home more often
Brendon's Adoption
Brendon and his sister Aislinn were both adopted from South Korea as infants through Children’s Home/Lutheran Social Services in Minnesota.
His experience gave him a personal understanding of how emotional, complex, and life-changing adoption can be
Meet Brady
FUN-LOVING:
Brady brings a light-hearted spirit to our lives. His energy keeps our home joyful and full of laughter and fun.
PATIENT:
When life is busy or unexpected challenges arise, Brady remains calm and thoughtful. He responds with care and brings balance and security to our home. He’s also the in-house handyman!
CARING:
He leads with his heart. He’s thoughtful and always considers the needs of those around him.
Brady's Job
Associate Director of Business Operations
- Brady helps lead a healthcare organization that provides care to Veterans and service members
- His leadership job is rewarding and very flexible which allows him to work from home
Our Hobbies
- Spending time with our family and friends, many of them are just down the road from our home
- Raising our cat Austin, tropical fish, and monarch butterflies
- Gardening veggies and flowers, woodworking, and sewing
- Cooking and trying new food
- Playing tennis, running, and lifting weights
- Volunteering at our local food pantry and community theater
- Learning about other cultures: we’ve been to 20+ countries!
